I joined the Pipsqueaks family in January 2021. I have been working in the early childhood industry for 8 years now & been fortunate to work in all age groups.
I’m excited to be working in the Golden Wattle classroom in 2021 – supporting the babies and ensuring they’re safe and nurtured. It’s paramount, as an educator to build trusting relationships with our families to ensure we can collaboratively work together to meet the child’s needs, support them as best as possible and show them that they’re capable of anything!
In my spare time I love to travel, cook and bake, spend time with my family and friends, find new brunch spots and hunt down new coffee spots for a good latte!

Early Childhood Teacher
With a focus on the importance of children being part of a community and their connection to community, he hopes to influence Lara’s residents in positive and meaningful ways.
He is passionate about creating a warm, inviting and engaging learning space for children to immerse themselves and build new and authentic understandings about themselves and the world.
Ben has been working in the education profession since 2010. During that time, Ben has worked in a number of different teaching roles both in kindergarten and school settings.
Throughout the years, I desired a career where I can make a change within an individual’s life and the broader community. Over time, I found myself always working alongside and caring for young children who inspired me to pursue a career in Early Childhood Education and Care.
Having the opportunity to work with children has reminded me of how beautiful and exciting the world around us can be. I love seeing the individuality of each child and their ability to create and carry out task purely from their imagination and the knowledge retained from the experiences provided to them.
A positive relationship between educators and families can show children that they can trust the adults in their lives because those adults trust each other. Therefore, projecting into the children’s academic growth benefits such instructional coherence, ensuring the learning is supported in all aspects and environments as it structures children’s lives during those vital first five years.
“I enjoy cutting up fruit and vegetables. I enjoy doing prep work for cooking. I enjoy cleaning up and getting all the dishes done. I like coming to Pipsqueaks to work because it’s fun and gets me out of the house“
“I like the Kids and all of the staff. They are all so nice. I like cooking for all the kids. I love that the centre is new and smells nice. I like nice things. I love when the kids come up and get food. They say thank you and say my name which makes me happy. I love what I do here.“
