Pipsqueaks director Mel

Mel

Centre Director

Mel has been in early childhood education since 2003 and worked across numerous centres in Geelong over that time.

She is passionate about providing an inviting, welcoming and inclusive place, not only for children, but their families.

Mel is Geelong born and bred with two children of her own at home, Daisy & Oliver. She is crazy about AFL, so don’t be afraid to catchup with Mel and chat about the latest game – GO CATS!

Hali

Assistant Director

Hali has worked in the early childhood education sector since 2018. Before working in day care she was a qualified gymnastics coach for three years in the Geelong region which sparked her passion for working with children and building connections within the community in a meaningful way.

Laura

Administration and Wellbeing Officer

Laura has a Bachelor of Early Childhood Studies and has worked as a Preschool Teacher, Family Day Care Educator and instrumental music teacher as well as many years in customer service supporting schools and educators.

She has two school age boys and lives on a couple of acres in Maude where they enjoy planting trees and veggies.

Kylie

Outdoor Educator

Kylie is a diploma qualified educator and started as an educator in 2016 at a family ran centre in Ballarat. She has a keen interest in being able to provide an engaging and stimulating environment that is welcoming to both the children and their families.

She has two young children of her own which has given her additional skills as an educator and increased her passion for early childhood education.

Jo

Educational Leader

Jo has been involved in Early Childhood Education for around 20 years. Starting in Geelong with a stint nannying in London before back to Melbourne, where she completed her Diploma and fell in love with the Reggio Emilia philosophy.

Maree

Quality and Compliance Officer

Maree has worked in children’s services for over 40 years in many different settings over this time.

She is committed to supporting and empowering educators. She is passionate  about early childhood education and best practice. She has extensive experience in compliance to ensure best outcomes for the centre, children, and families.
